In this role, you will calculate weekly union fringe benefits and work closely with our nationwide Branch locations Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Reviews Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) for the setup of benefits for all Local Unions. Benefits are Health & Welfare, Pension, Training, etc.
  • Ensures all Union employees have the proper benefits based on their Local Union designation and the CBA.
  • Reviews and corrects setup errors to ensure that employees/unions are whole to prevent penalties and union grievances.
  • Prepares monthly funding reports.
  • Requests checks for funding from Accounts Payable and provide to Local Unions with funding reports prior to the deadlines each month to avoid penalties.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records in anticipation of union audits requests.
  • Prepares the weekly Union benefits for payroll processing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong excel and data analysis skills to include hands-on experience using pivot tables and v-lookup functionality.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Works well independently and with other members of the team.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to troubleshoot data related issues.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Union experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products with strong proficiency in Excel.
